VOCALOID

Vocaloid is a vocal synthesizer software, using vowel sounds provided by voice actors such as "A I U E O" or "KA KI KU KE KO" are put together to create a Vocaloid which can be purchased and used to create music. There are many reasons someone may want to use a Vocaloid, such as not liking their own singing voice, wanting to remain anon, or not knowing any singers irl. To protect the image of the vocal providers, they are given avatars. Imagine if your boss looked up your name and saw "I hate my boss ft Saki Fujita" that wouldn't be good o.o So instead its more of "I hate my boss ft Hatsune Miku".
